FOOD PACKAGING

Amec Plastics uses the latest injection moulding machines and other available technology to produce a variety of thin wall containers and tubs for the food packaging industry. Some of these products are generic and others are the result of our own ongoing innovative designs.

The latest addition to our modern equipment is the Wittmann IML (in mould labeling) robot which interacts with our multi-cavity stack-mould system. The quality produced with this system is unsurpassed and we are able to operate very efficiently and cost effective.

Apart from the obvious superior quality of the in-mould labeling system, there is a massive saving for food packaging operators as containers are manufactured with the label already in place in the correct spot. Another advantage of the IML versus printing is the multitude of colours as well as the photo quality of labels.
